Life can get messy and overwhelming. Sometimes, all we need is a safe space to sift through it, and find our way forward. Because we’re not meant to carry things on our own.

What Brings You Here

Do you feel lost, overwhelmed, or unsure why things don’t feel quite right?

You may be navigating the demands of a high-stress environment, struggling to find
a sustainable work–life balance, wondering whether neurodivergence plays a role,
or carrying the impact of past experiences / trauma.

Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to make sense of it on your own.

In therapy, we’ll work together in a safe, supportive space to explore what’s been weighing on you and what may be getting in the way. At your own pace, we can begin to notice patterns, understand challenges, and support a greater sense of clarity and connection with yourself.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
We can take the first step together.

Hi I’m Denise

A woman with blonde hair wearing a blue shirt and a necklace with an eye charm, sitting in front of a beige wall and a potted plant with green leaves.

My approach to therapy is tailored to you. I offer an authentic, supportive space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to explain, justify, or have everything figured out.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. In our work together, my role is to provide a calm, steady presence where we can gently explore what’s been weighing on you, at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and manageable.

I support individuals living with the effects of difficult or unsafe relationships, chronic health conditions, cancer, neurodivergence, and a wide range of life experiences that have been hard to carry. I work in a trauma-informed and neurodivergence-affirming way.

Together, we focus on building self-understanding, self-compassion, and clarity about what matters most to you. We also work in practical, collaborative ways to find coping tools, supports, and strategies that fit your life, so you can feel more resourced, grounded, and better able to navigate day-to-day challenges in ways that feel aligned with who you are.

Some of the areas I work with.

  • Navigating your sense of self and personal values can be challenging, especially if you feel disconnected from who you truly are. Therapy provides a supportive environment to explore and affirm your identity, helping you live authentically and pursue a life aligned with your true self.

  • Ongoing feelings of anxiety, sadness, or emotional numbness can make daily life feel overwhelming and disconnect you from things that once felt meaningful. You may find it harder to concentrate, enjoy activities, or feel at ease in yourself. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore these experiences, understand what may be contributing to them, and gently develop ways of coping that feel manageable and supportive for you.

  • Struggles with self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not quite knowing who you are can affect how you relate to yourself and the world around you. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore these experiences, understand where they come from, and begin to develop a more compassionate and grounded sense of self.

  • Experiences of emotional or psychological abuse can have a lasting impact on how you see yourself and relate to others. These experiences are often subtle and confusing, which can make them difficult to recognise or trust your own understanding of. Therapy offers a supportive, validating space to explore what you’ve been through, make sense of its effects, and begin to rebuild a sense of safety and self-worth.

  • Neurodivergent-affirming therapy offers a respectful, non-judgmental space where your experiences are understood and valued. Therapy focuses on recognising individual strengths, understanding challenges in context, and supporting self-acceptance rather than change or masking. Together, we can explore how neurodivergence shapes your experience and develop strategies that feel realistic, supportive, and true to you.

  • Traumatic experiences, whether arising from a single event or ongoing situations, can have a lasting impact on emotional and psychological wellbeing. Therapy offers a compassionate, supportive space to gently explore these experiences and understand how they may continue to affect you. At your own pace, we can work towards restoring a sense of safety, stability, and confidence in your life.

  • Item dexperiencing the loss of a loved one can impact all aspects of your life and emotional well-being. Therapy provides a compassionate space to process your emotions, navigate the complexities of grief, and honor your loss. Together, we can work towards healing and finding a path forward.scription
